MRCs are physical structures with multiple roles and functions for potential and returnee migrants. They provides pre-departure briefings, one-on-one counselling, conduct information campaigns, develop modules and knowledge materials for awareness raising, provides capacity building for various stakeholders (governments, academia, civil society, migrants/families, etc.) .MRCs also have partnership with academic institutions on research, conferences and fora to mainstream migration, and conduct activities for the International Migrants Day and other relevant events or occasion related to migration.
