There is no formal expectation from you in attending the training. However, you are expected to engage, share your experiences and views, and participate in the discussions and group activities.
After the training, you can share the knowledge and information you learn to your family members, especially the tips and advice that will involve your family members. You can also share the materials that will be distributed during the training with your friends and colleagues.
You can apply what you learned once you are overseas. Always remember the tips and advice. They will be useful, especially when encounter problems or during emergency or crisis. Upon arrival in your destination country, you can report back to the Migrant Resource Centres or MRCs to share your experience. Your insights will be valuable to the incoming migrants. MRC can use your experience and recommendations in future trainings or information dissemination to educate more intending or prospective migrants.
There are two MRCs currently functioning in Bangladesh – Dhaka and Cumilla.
